This was viewed from Cold Springs Road. I received permission from Range Control to bird from the road that day.
If you visit Yakima Training Center, PLEASE follow their regulations. If you don't, we might all loose the privilege of birding there.

Upon arriving at the entrance to YTC, one of the guards escorted me to the guard shack where we sign in for recreational use for the day. Previously, they had always let me go over & sign in myself. I was repeatedly warned by both Range Control and the guards at the entrance, not to skip signing in at Range Control, not to go where I was not allowed, & not to go into areas that were closed due to active live fire training -- or I would be escorted off the base as they did to Andy & Scott for all those reasons.
