An Osprey was reported recently by a private group birding in U.S. Department of Interior -- Bureau of Reclamation closed mitigation area. I found this Osprey far from there in a public, freely accessible area along the Yakima River. I heard it make a couple of sounds, then spotted it flying, carrying a fish. Because of the cold rain, I had my point-and-shoot tucked in its case in an inner pocket. I managed to snap two photos. This one is extremely poor, but shows the Osprey carrying a fish.

Sorry, but no eBird report -- my response to four local listers' bad habits: trespassing, excessively pishing, flushing of birds, and unwillingness to give some birders due credit for rare birds we've found; and no BirdYak post -- a small pond grandstander blocks my BirdYak posts, another example of his unethical behavior.
Someday our problem children might climb out of their trespassshole.
